​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ANDREA VAZQUEZ  is an internationally cross-disciplinary artist, educator, and somatic specialist. Bridging the worlds of dance and theater, her creative research explores the threshold of 'truth in fiction' and 'fiction in truth.' Over a distinguished career, she has performed with premier U.S. companies such as the Bill Evans Dance Company and Mexican dance companies, like Dramadanza. She co-directs leads Ars Longa, a group of scholars pioneering arts research initiatives between Italy and Mexico. A dedicated educator, Andrea holds an MFA in Dance from the State University of New York at Brockport. She is a Laban Movement Analyst, MAISON MUNZ coach and Stott Pilates Instructor Trainer. Currently, she serves as a dance specialist for a public school district in Houston, TX.
